The department prepares students to provide a full range of health care services to childbearing families and women across the health care continuum. The department prepares students for clinical practice in the delivery of health care for children and young adults in a wide variety of settings. It has three programmes, namely: BSc Midwifery (Upgrading); BSc Nursing (Direct); and BSc Medical Social Work.
