The department focuses on the application of public health, professional nursing, community concepts, scientific methods, and critical thinking in the assessment and identification of populations at risk for major community health problems. Three programmes are house in the department: BSc Nursing (Upgrading-Regular); Occupational Health and Safety; and Global Health and Travel Medicine.
